As a musician, playwright, actor and journalist, Ronnie L. Holman is a bright and ambitious writer looking to inspire those who are and not like him. With a B.A. in journalism, he is currently pursuing an M.A. in mass communication and an M.A. in creative writing with a focus on playwriting.

Ronnie has interviewed celebrities like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Dwayne Wade, Ernestine Johnson, Geoffrey Golden, and Kirk Franklin just to name a few. Writing is a skill and an art used to be a voice for many people.

After nearly selling out two shows of his first stage play “When the Lights Go Out,” he continues to be focused on providing substance in the form of performing arts. His sophomore stage production, “Mama, Why Me?” based on a true story of domestic violence hit the stage in 2015. He sold out one of two shows. He doesn’t desire to be Tyler Perry, he only wants to be himself and provide substance to performing arts. His next stage play, “The Messy Church” is another highly anticipated production scheduled to be performed at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio. Along with producing a awards show for youth coming this year, he is writing three books and plans to publish them in the next year or so. He is a professional drummer and has played for some of the most incredible national recording artist in secular and gospel music. As an owner of three businesses, he finds time to pour back into kids as much as he does his own. He is a middle school girl’s head basketball coach. The will to succeed and continuing to learn, it is inevitable you will see or hear his name again on a page written by him.
